Thunderbolt Patterson's "Blacklisting"

Thunderbolt Patterson has said that he was blacklisted from wrestling due to the racial discrimination lawsuit he filed in the 1970s. He has claimed that his blacklisting ended when he went to Florida in 1975. His match histories indicate he continuously worked in wrestling from 1970 to 1980.

His racial discrimination lawsuit was a real event. But I've been unable to find information on when it happened in the 1970s.

Its possible that by "blacklisting" he means something other than being denied employment. What is true that he became a main event wrestler in 1975 again when he claims his blacklisting ended. But there is no source that says that. 107.193.104.112 (talk) 15:37, 18 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
