New section about "Out-of-sequence thrusting"

Hi @Mikenorton, I was wondering if you'd be interested in adding a section about Out-of-sequence thrusting under this article. This idea sprung up while revisiting the 1555 Kashmir earthquake which I wrote some years ago. I noticed there isn't a place on Wikipedia that explores this, but if I can find the time, I'll give brief information in this article so there's a Wikilink to something. On further research, it seems that break-back thrusting (i.e. hinterland directed propagation sequences) are these days considered to be one type of "in-sequence" propagation (see Section 4.1 here). Mikenorton (talk) 12:08, 24 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
