Armada

[edit]

A few days ago I came across The Percy Anecdotes. Could it be true?

https://books.google.nl/books?id=aQQPAAAAYAAJ&pg=PA248&lpg=PA248&dq=Elisabeth+Bank+Genua+Venedig+Armada&source=bl&ots=UN_qwMa89N&sig=824OrO5rHd0P5eFH15gViLrD9Ws&hl=de&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjPlf_74tbXAhXkC8AKHf0hCPsQ6AEIRDAG#v=onepage&q&f=false

Thomas Sutton seems to have been involved.

Interesting snippet and plausible, but the old encyclopedia sources linked in his wiki biog don't mention it, and this source is not reliable.Shtove (talk) 17:52, 1 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
Interesting find, but definitely not the same guy. Queen Elizabeth 1 died in 1603, long before Thomas Sutton the pirate was born. TheLastBrunnenG (talk) 00:26, 29 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
