Does anyone have a more recent photo of Detry? This is a 28 year old man who is a professional golfer and we're displaying a photo of him when he was a 16 yr old boy. It's much different than when we use a decade old picture of a 60 year old politician or actor. Surely some editor who specializes in the European Tour must be able to obtain rights to a more recent photo.
You are not being censored, and no your insertions about marriage were not supported by the sources immediately following the respective sentences. It does not matter if it is elsewhere in the article, you cannot mislead readers by adding information where it is inappropriate and not supported by the source after it.
Having your edits reverted for not following Wikipedia policy isn't censorship.
When editing a Biography of a living person (BLP), you're expected to strictly adhere to policy. If you edit against policy, it is not censorship - it will be reverted because you are ignoring the rules.
