Speedy Deletion contest

[edit]

Although I'm not the original author of this page, I've worked on it and am satisfied that it passes WP:MUSIC due to the indie label (Lojinx) and the inclusion on a hit CBS show (C10). The band seems to have toured extensively and I'm now going to look for coverage. Booglamay (talk) 13:08, 20 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

I am the brother of one of the Wellingtons who wrote the original theme song and was the Mosquitoes on the tv program. The link you have is TOTALLY INCORRECT. The names of the Wellingtons: Ed Wade (Brother) Kirby Johnson, and George Patterson. Thank you. Jim J. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.178.8.81 (talk) 19:58, 8 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

This item in Wikipedia needs a disambiguation page to show that there are two musical groups with the same name. I don't know if such pages are automatically created if another page for The Wellingtons is created using the same name.fred campbell (talk) 20:26, 3 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Not the Gilligan's Island Wellingtons

[edit]

There's a link to this article from the Gilligan's Island episodes page, because the group that performed that show's theme song -- another set of Wellingtons -- appeared in an episode of the show. It would probably be a good idea to break that link. McGehee (talk) 03:39, 21 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

The older Wellingtons were probably more notable

Disambiguation

[edit]

I suggest that the title of this page be changed to "The Wellingtons, (Australia)" and that a new page be created with a title of "The Wellingtons, (United States)". There appear to be a number of links to this page that would have to be changed to point to the correct page. I suppose that a disambiguation page would have to be created for "The Wellingtons".fred campbell (talk) 21:27, 3 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
