Fort Lee?

[edit]

I think this film was made after Griffith, Sennett and Normand had long since decamped to Hollywood both for the weather and to elude Edison's lawsuits, unfortunately denying American filmgoers any interesting backgrounds (like New York City) on a continuous basis for decades, by the time this picture was produced. Don't have time at the moment to research it for this specific film but thought I'd drop the notion into the talk page: I do not think this movie could have been made in Fort Lee as late as 1918.
