Specific text to be added or removed:

In the infobox, replace:

| type = Financial advisory services

with:

| type = Investing

And change the existing blank industry parameter:

| industry =

to:

| industry = Investment research

Reason for the change: The current "Financial advisory services" classification does not reflect how The Motley Fool is described by reliable independent sources. Axios describes The Motley Fool as an "investing site," and the Jacksonville Daily Record describes it as an "investing website." The Boston Globe describes The Motley Fool as an "investment research company," and The Wall Street Journal has described it as an "online investment-research company."
