The MicroDreams Foundation is a non-profit providing a service which is very difficult to find in the microfinance industry. MicroDreams provides financing to tier 3 or start up Microfinance institutions that otherwise would not be able to receive funding. Most large microfinance investment vehicles and asset management firms refuse to provide funding to these small fast growing microfinance instutions as they are too small and too young to be a "safe" investment. MicroDreams fills this gap in the market. It's important for these start-up, non-financially sustainable Microfinance instutions to know about Microdreams so that the poor women in rural communities might have access to financial resources and have a way to move themselves up out of poverty.
