Plot Summary
[edit]This plot summary is terrible. Leaves out a lot of stuff. Starting with the opening paragraph its badly written with terrible sentence structure and makes no mention of what the mission is. Says scientists were rescued when it was sailors. Makes no mention that it was a submarine and why the others were left behind. Just that Jason Statham knew it was too late. Explosion or implosion?

Editors just cannot seem to get numbers right, gross errors all over the place.
In the lead section please replace
X "grossed over $530 million " with
Y "grossed $529.2 million " (so that it at least matches the Infobox).
The Infobox lists the gross as the $529.2 million which sourced from Box office mojo, which lists the gross as $529,243,742.
This figure is obviously under $530 million not over but such qualifiers should never have been used in the first place: MOS:LARGENUM "Avoid using "approximately", "about", and similar terms with figures that have merely been approximated or rounded in a normal and expected way, unless the reader might otherwise be misled."

- I've reopened the request because the Infobox lists $529.2 million and the lead section lists $529 million. This mismatch is strange and unnecessary. It would be best if the same figures were used consistently in all cases, the Infobox, lead section, and most importantly the article body. Inconsistent capitalization of the Word "meg"
