Tarheel Slim and Dan Pickett

[edit]

no mention of tarheel slims recordings with dan pickett from the early 40s? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Johnleepimp (talkcontribs) 16:32, 17 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

There's no mention of Tarheel Slim's recordings for the Gotham label in 1949, which is an omission which should be rectified (somehow - actually, I think he should probably have his own article), but were they actually with Pickett (who also lacks an article)? This discography implies that the two were packaged together on the same album, but not necessarily recorded together. User:StefanWirz would know as it's his discography! Neither mention of Tarheel Slim / Dan Pickett recordings in Robert M.W. Dixon & John Godrich: Blues & Gospel Records 1902 - 1943, 3rd ed. 1982 ("early" 1940s) nor in Les Fancourt & Bob McGrath: The Blues Discography 1943 - 1970.- Vancouver 2006 --- those are the sources I usually do consult --- any additional info (from reliable source, not from hearsay ;-) appreciated !!!
