On 2010-04-24, Fran Moyer (whose parents were the Profts, and grandparents were the Dubes (pronounced dew-bees)) purchased the land and buildings of The Grove on auction for $200K. With this purchase, the town "stays in the family". Fran spent her childhood in The Grove until the age of seventeen. (Note: I am putting this in "Talk" for now because it cannot yet be verified via published source. The auction was thoroughly documented, but references to that documentation are not yet available.
