Title contains a misspelling

[edit]

The current title of this article contains a misspelling, as "Embarrassing" is normally spelled with a double-R. The external link to the Hermitage's official website uses the misspelling in the headline, but the correct spelling in the second sentence. The www.nga.gov PDF file uses double-R in the painting's listing on page 340. (Warning, this is a very large download).

In addition, both these sources translate the French "proposition" as "proposal", not as "proposition". I suggest, then, that this article should follow the www.nga.gov source and be named "The Embarrassing Proposal". -- John of Reading (talk) 14:15, 17 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for pointing this out, I've moved the article. BearGlyph (talk) 21:56, 3 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
