[edit]Throughout the article the song "I'll keep on holding on" (performed by The Action) is confused with "I'll keep holdin on" (performed by The Marvelletes). Trimmed biographical information
[edit]I have trimmed the biographical information (birthdate, death-date, place of birth, place of death were relevant!) that seemed to have been added for every member of the band. The jamming in of this material made the page largely unreadable and I think it not directly relevant, as this is a band page and not a page on each of those members. I have left the info there, commented out, if someone can think of a way of properly, elegantly integrating it. In addition the info was all unsourced anyway. What does this mean?
[edit]To quote the article: "Relying solely on a few singles for material, the Action were known to perform The Ronettes songs "Do I Love You?" and "You Baby" in their live sets; as George Martin was preoccupied with the Beatles' Sgt. Pepper's recording sessions."
The George Martin reference makes no sense in context. It isn't even grammatically correct! Has something been carelessly edited out leaving behind a nonsensical sentence fragment? Or is there perhaps supposed to be a reference to George Martin but it hasn't been properly edited in? Since George Martin was considerably more famous and influential than the subjects of this article, any connection between them is worth describing properly, don't you think? 86.144.29.77 (talk) 10:46, 19 April 2025 (UTC)
