John Webb's Windmill

[edit]

I've taken a guess at the coordinates of John Webb's Windmill, on that page. Anyone who is familiar with THaxted might want to check that I chose the right circular structure from google maps, for instance. --Tagishsimon (talk)

Which Andy Smith?

[edit]

The resident coach of Thaxted Rovers is described as "footballing legend Andy Smith". There are three living Andy Smiths and one Andrew Smith who are footballers with wikipedia articles but none appear to match the description in mention of Thaxted. If the person who added his name could demonstrate his fame by mentioning say a career highlight it would make more sense than the subjective "legend" adjective. If he is by any chance one of those with a biography an article link would also be useful.Cloptonson (talk) 19:06, 9 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Missing major section etc.

[edit]

This article is missing an essential Geography section for the parish and town. I might get around to it, but someone might want to have a go. The article looks like it could be a candidate for at least a 'C' rating, but it would need a restructure of sections and text per UK Town/Village guidelines. [edit]

The article was becoming littered with external links embedded in the body of the article. Please note, WP:EL says "External links normally should not be placed in the body of an article." I have tidied up most of the links, converting them to inline citations which are less prone to linkrot. Thanks. Paul W (talk) 16:52, 18 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
