Thangjing is a deity of pre Hindu origin. That's true. But the sources never claim Kuki origin. It is a deity whose another epithet is Koiren Lai or Koireng Lai, meaning deity of the Koireng people, who are classified as "kuki" in modern grouping. If one wants to add proper clarification, please use "koireng origin, adopted by Meitei" for specific information, rather than generic construction like "kuki origin, adopted by....". Thanks. "pre-Hindu Meitei deity" isn't an exaggeration but a fact because Meitei people have integrated the deity for a long period of time before embracing Hinduism, regardless of the origin of the deity, which is not mentioned specifically in the cited sources. Suggestion, change Thangching or Thangjing to Thangching or Thangjing, also known as Koireng Lai (lit: god of the Koireng people), as it is the deity common name.

Change Sanamahism, the traditional religion of Manipur to Sanamahism. It is unsourced and inaccurate.
