Needs Examples

[edit]

Needs examples for how to solve a test statistic.71.82.67.87 (talk) 01:47, 21 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Where's the "List of statistics symbols" visible in the editor?

[edit]

Can't add to it, if it's hidden. Kolyvansky (talk) 05:06, 15 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

Pooled two-proportion z-test may have a mistake

[edit]

It says on my high school statistics textbook that the conditions for a pooled two-proportion z-test are:

(n1)(pooled p-hat) ≥ 10, (n1)(1 - pooled p-hat) ≥ 10, (n2)(pooled p-hat) ≥ 10, (n2)(1 - pooled p-hat) ≥ 10

...which is different from what is says on this article. The two sources have the same formula for the test statistic and the pooled p-hat, though. Has there been a mistake? I'm no statistician so I don't want to edit the article myself. Hopefully someone knowledgeable on the topic can look it over.

Why are Formulas suddenly not showing?

Something in Firefox? Found it: text color must be black. OveGjerlow (talk) 19:10, 20 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
