  • Lourenço then moved to Curitiba in 2015, allowing the collaboration to evolve more concretely Couldn't confirm that he moved to evolve the collaboration more concretely (makes sense but not written). The inline source says: When I moved to Curitiba, in 2015, we had a few projects that didn’t came to be, but in 2017 we started to write a few songs
  • The band emerged in 2017 in the city of Curitiba, in the state of Paraná. Not sure we need this sentence; the next sentence already describes their formation
    • That sentence is included to have a source for the year of when they formed as a band. I managed to combine the aforementioned sentence.
  • in 21 December 2017 ---> on 21 December 2017
    • Done
  • Entirely self-produced by Lourenço in his bedroom studio,[6] he stated that "it was quite a long process. I think we started recording in September, and the EP was only ready, mixed and mastered, by December" ----> Entirely self-produced by Lourenço in his bedroom studio who stated that "it was quite a long process", starting with recording in September, and by December undergoing mixing and mastering
    • Done
  • Are you sure Nico Braganholo worked with Marrakesh? The inline source mentions only Terno Rei and Jovem Dionísio
  • specialist websites ----> music website ?
    • Done
  • There are two instances of the "notable .... bands such as", but at least in one of the cases the source (Groover) doesn't identify them as such. Is it too picky? :)
    • Removed unsupported descriptors
  • The album was described as a record that pushed beyond conventional shoegaze boundaries by Lucas Cassoli of Monkeybuzz. The album was reviewed positively by him[23] and reviewers from Música Instantânea,[24] Folha de S.Paulo,[25] and the English-language outlet Stereogum, which named it "Album of the Week" during its release week[21] and later ranked it 21st in the publication's list of "The 50 Best Albums of 2025 So Far", published on 2 June 2025. ----> The album was described by Lucas Cassoli of Monkeybuzz as a record that pushed beyond conventional shoegaze boundaries. • Done
  • It would be great to add an extra cite for Lollapalooza Brazil 2026, if they eventually played it
  • Members frequently cite cinema as an influence as well Currently it is verified by one source. Do have more examples where they cited films as their influence?
    • Removed the phrasing "frequently"

Illustration?

[edit]

@Cathodography and LastJabberwocky: While possible, it's especially rare for a Good Article to have no illustration whatsoever, and for a modern band I'd say a huge missed opportunity to break up some of the walls of text. Is there any chance this freely licensed Flickr photo can be used , and if not, at least a photo of one of the venues they played at? Cheers! Johnson524 11:35, 16 April 2026 (UTC)Reply

@Johnson524 That Flickr file has a CC-BY-NC 2.0 license, which I tried publishing onto Commons but I couldn't because of c:Flickr files. I actually tried emailing the band months ago asking a good social media photo of them; they responded but they never actually addressed sending us a photo. However I do understand that I can just publish a non-free file of the band which I may do in the future. Cattos💭 11:41, 16 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
I don't even think that'll be necessary, the one I linked its specifically freely licensed (different from the one in the GA nom). FWIW, thank you for going the extra mile and contacting the band though! If they ever reply I'm sure their photo will be better than this one 🙂 Cheers! Johnson524 11:44, 16 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
That one photo is also CC BY-NC 2.0 :(. As an option, we can add a panorama of Curitiba, the city where they started. Or images of bands that most inspired them (bloody valentine, I think). Or an images of slowdove and deftones, the bands they opened for and that significantly promoted Terraplana. —LastJabberwocky (Rrarr) 12:01, 16 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
@Cathodography and LastJabberwocky: Oops, I was looking at the wrong thing too 😅 Those are great alternatives though, and of the ones you thought of my favorite would have to be the panorama of Curitiba, but any of those would look good imo. Thank you again, and cheers! Johnson524 20:11, 16 April 2026 (UTC)Reply

Rationale: since v1 (appears to be LLM translated), note WP:AISIGNS - superficial analyses, vocab distro typical of LLM output etc Gnomingstuff (talk) 07:15, 5 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

Gnomingstuff, I don't think it is Ai generated, Cathodography just writes this way, and to be honest it is similar to the way I write, as well. Couldn't verify "incorporating layered textures, ambient elements" using ref [5] but otherwise reads good to me. Can you pinpoint some examples? —LastJabberwocky (Rrarr) 13:52, 5 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
Fair enough, this seems to be primarily isolated edits but I haven't fully factchecked; just removed the tag Gnomingstuff (talk) 15:04, 5 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
