Notability?

[edit]

Article cites information about the company's notability and is not in violation of CSD A7. --bapinney (talk) 07:44, 18 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Alas, many of the links are now dead. They appeared to be mostly press releases or promotional web sites. If the company is still around, it might be notable now five years later, but still needs to have independent sources, not just promotion. W Nowicki (talk) 22:51, 16 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Notability

[edit]

I did a Google News archive search on Telogis and came up with 57 results. Unfortunately, they all look like recycled press releases or trivial coverage. I don't think this company meets our Notability Guideline for Corporations. --A. B. (talkcontribs) 14:45, 19 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Added an outside source to help establish notability --bapinney (talk) 06:37, 20 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
I saw that. Unfortunately, I'm not sure that meets our requirements. Take a close look at that guideline and see what you think. Telogis just may not yet be big enough to generate sufficient press coverage to meet our guideline. If that's the case, perhaps it will grow and the situation will change someday in the future. In the meantime, we can't keep the article if it doesn't satisfy our notability guideline.--A. B. (talkcontribs) 06:52, 20 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
