Strangely there are no links present hmm. obviously some1 deleted them, for some reason.

Anyway, i just say the "Escarpment" in a BBC(?) document about west Africancultures, mainly about African cultures in Wes Africa, perticuarly the Benin culture, who apparently were quite skilled Bronze sculptures/craftmen. It allsow showed those granaries seen on the article's picture.

They were used to store fruits (they didn't say what kind). Will try to search and find some reliable sources of this.

Can someone with more knowledge than I evaluate that last sentence? The way it's phrased seems suspicious to me, but I don't have the technical knowledge to conclusively identify it as vandalism or a legitimate addition.
