who says the game was 2-0 for Esteghlal while the game was 2-2 when riot stated. "- In the 38th derby Persepolis was leading in the match by a score of 2-0 until the last 10 minutes of the match. Esteghlal scored 2 goals in quick succession, including one which was a penalty. This angered the Persepolis fans and players who felt the referee was biased towards Esteghlal. Persepolis fans stormed the field, and many fights broke out on the pitch between fans and players. After this match it was decided that Iranian referees will no longer be used for the derby"

Another thing is that perspolise won against Esteghlal another time 2-1 in final match of playy-offs which did not mentiond in the greatest matchs between two teams.

Fair use rationale for Image:Esteghlalnewlogo.jpg

[edit]

Image:Esteghlalnewlogo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Summary Of results

[edit]

Shows Persepolis as winning 17 derbies (correct), but 16 league wins plus 2 play-off wins equals 18 wins, not 17... Is it 16 and 1 or 15 and 2? Ciao! db1987db (talk) 09:12, 27 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Note

[edit]

Derby 31 was in Tehran Cup (Jaa'm e Ba'shga'h ha'ye Tehran) , aban 1368
