The Pentagon or the Pentagon?
[edit]@Colonies Chris and Daniel Case: Maybe we should follow AP and DoD style guides for this. I believe they both refer to "the Pentagon". ☆ Bri (talk) 14:33, 6 May 2019 (UTC)
- Yeah, I was going to check AP ... thanks for doing that. If both AP and DoD say to lowercase it (except, of course, for the obvious exception of opening a sentence), I think it's settled. That's better guidance than we got in this infamous example. Daniel Case (talk) 14:48, 6 May 2019 (UTC)
- To clarify; my disagreement is not about capitalisation. I made this change, and continued to reinstate it, because "the Pentagon" is the wrong link (click on it and see where it takes you). I don't much care whether it's the Pentagon or "The Pentagon". Colonies Chris (talk) 15:05, 6 May 2019 (UTC)
