Teutamus (Macedonian general from 4th century BCE) and Tectamus/Teutamos (legendary Pelasgian founder)?

Do we consider the onomastic evidence for Tectamos (Pelasgian) as entirely correct, or is Teutamos a possible scribal error? If Teutamos is a legitimate alternate name, then it might mean the same as the Macedonian general, and both names stem from Proto-Indo-European. 2804:14D:5CE7:8E72:CD2A:E1DE:F172:AE6B (talk) 15:59, 15 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
