On Creating this Article

[edit]

Created this article to document the Technology Coalition, a nonprofit industry group founded in 2006. The organization is referenced frequently in platform transparency reports and congressional testimony on child online safety but had no Wikipedia presence. Sourcing prioritizes independent coverage (ECPAT International, INHOPE, TechCrunch, Business for Social Responsibility, ProPublica IRS 990 data) over the organization's own website where possible but it was a bit difficult. The Lantern signal-sharing program is the most independently sourced element; other program descriptions rely on primary sources where no independent coverage exists yet.
