Not if you're a nuclear medicine person who only works banker's hours! There aren't too many emergency nuclear medical scans. Thus, the generators get milked at most twice in a daytime hour work day. SBHarris 22:02, 28 March 2010 (UTC)

Waste

What is done with the Technetium-99 waste? If it is excreted by patients is it simply released into the environment as sufficiently diluted to be of no concern? Are there other forms in which this waste can collect or release into the environment? Hobbitschuster (talk) 17:20, 29 January 2022 (UTC)
