Spermophilus taurensisTaurus Ground Squirrel — Request move to unambiguous common name, over scientific name. —innotata (TalkContribs) 17:16, 7 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Common name is mentioned in most publications discussing the species, so I am okay with its use. However, they all use the lowercase form "Taurus ground squirrel", and so, I think, should we (). Ucucha 09:22, 12 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
As noted in the other discussions of this sort, the other ground squirrels are almost all at uppercase. I think this should be moved to the uppercase, at least for now, since a priority in the matter of caps should be consistency. —innotata (TalkContribs) 22:51, 12 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
