Massacre
[edit]The article should clarify that the troops weren't killed in combat but mass murdered by German forces after surrender.--MyMoloboaccount (talk) 01:34, 31 May 2020 (UTC)
Yes. This was a very odd omission. I have done something to correct it. This was a well-documented war crime by Wehrmacht soldiers which cannot simply be laid at the door of the SS. There is a good article at https://www.nationalww2museum.org/war/articles/chasselay-massacre-june-1940 and another at https://www.cheminsdememoire.gouv.fr/en/senegalese-tata-chasselay .46.208.190.86 (talk) 19:24, 18 November 2021 (UTC)
Also article at https://www.jpost.com/international/revealing-the-nazi-massacre-of-black-french-soldiers-632612 gives further sources. 46.208.190.86 (talk) 19:28, 18 November 2021 (UTC)
