With events of conversion into different other reigions- so called enlightening the jungle people, the Tangsas tribals now faces hard times for its survival as a tribe. Recent events of religious violences, including killing of people, proves that.

They are not folowers of Donyi-Polo, which is followed by Adis and other tribes of the same state. Donyi-Polo which means Sun-Moon as god. Where as Tangsas followed Rangfrah- translated God from the heaven.
