Emulation

[edit]

can this system be emulated by a PC?

Can't be too hard to do. It is Windows XP Embedded-based... —an odd name 21:10, 13 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

It probably won't be emulated anytime soon since a lot of the key titles already show up as PC ports.

Hacked

[edit]

Taito Type x2 arcade board was recently hacked. Game BlazBlue: Continuum Shift leaked with a loader which allows it to run on a standard Windows PC. There's a gameplay video available showing the game running on a standard Windows PC.

Vandalism

[edit]

This page keeps getting vandalized with someone changing the names of the games.

Taito Type X2 Specs

[edit]

Can we stop copy-and-pasting info from System16 into Wikipedia? The specs listed on their site is not right. Though Taito is PC-based hardware, its not a consumer's Personal Computer, the hardware specs are not upgradeable from the vendors.--Scottind (talk) 18:46, 5 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

General Comments

[edit]

The spec listed is the spec from the Taito Japan Type-X Website, and yes, please stop stealing all my work - Toby —Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.6.99.246 (talk) 19:01, 15 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Rawiya - who/what is this?

[edit]

In the heading paragraphs there is mention of Rawiya - who or what is this? It just stands in there without any other information. If nobody knows what this is might just remove it as it's not very informative nor helpful. - Master Of Ninja (talk) 07:13, 27 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Linux OS

[edit]

I have removed the entry relating to the use of linux as an OS on the Type X platforms. If someone has information to contradict this please provide a link below Al bundy ttx (talk) 06:11, 13 February 2017 (UTC)Reply
