Contradiction between Tourism and Economy sections

[edit]

The last paragraph of the economy section reads "Tourism is a small but significant component of the local economy", while the first sentence of the culture section reads "Tourism is a major part of Taipei's economy". These seem contradictory, however I don't read Chinese, so I can't check the sources 91.125.190.10 (talk) 20:27, 25 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Traditional Chinese Name

[edit]

The name of Taipei can be written as 臺北市 or 台北市 in Traditional Chinese, and this is shown at the top of the infobox. However, in the first sentence, only 臺北市 is listed as, or at least how I interpret it, the only option for the city’s name in Traditional Chinese. 台北市 is listed as the only Simplified Chinese alternative. Should this be changed to include both 臺北市 and 台北市? InNerdsWeTrust (talk) 13:15, 24 December 2025 (UTC)Reply
