Fair use rationale for Image:NS logo.jpg
[edit]
Image:NS logo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

do not make the name bold per MOS:NOBOLD
- Where in NOBOLD does it say that? I've done this for my previous nominations, and no one raised it. Icepinner (Come to Hakurei Shrine!) 04:12, 22 March 2026 (UTC)

what do you mean by an open house? Please link if there is an article
- An open house is an event where a building is opened for public preview (before the building officially opens). Surprisingly, we don't actually have an article on open houses, the closest being Doors Open Days (but that article doesn't really match with the concept of an open house). Should I rephrase it to smth like "opening ceremony"? Icepinner (Come to Hakurei Shrine!) 03:52, 22 March 2026 (UTC)
- I think you should.

In May 2017, an underpass connecting 18 Tai Seng to this station opened.
why does this need to be in the lead?

A year later, the LTA paid S$380,000 (2006) (US$239,154.15) in compensation for damaging a terrace house.
why is this placed randomly with the explanation in the sentence below? You should put why it is related here and not there.
- Iirc, the original news article briefly mentioned the whole case and didn't provide any context? I'll have to recheck since I've lost access to the newspaper repository that has the article. Icepinner (Come to Hakurei Shrine!) 04:05, 22 March 2026 (UTC)
- No, put why the terrace house is related to the article in the first sentence, not the second one.

what does this mean? please reword.
- The LTA argued that the "damages" weren't actually damages but rather natural ageing of the house. Hopefully my rewording is clear enough. Icepinner (Come to Hakurei Shrine!) 04:05, 22 March 2026 (UTC)

The new exit comes with an escalator and a lift for pedestrians' use.
shouldn't this be placed in details?
- Imo it's too brief to be mentioned in the details section especially considering how there's like no other information on the rest of the station exits. Considering how virtually every single underground station has escalators and a lift, I'm probably gonna remove it. Icepinner (Come to Hakurei Shrine!) 04:05, 22 March 2026 (UTC)

Tai Seng station is mostly wheelchair accessible.
I think this is original research, since it only shows a map.
- The map shows wheelchair icons, which indicate exits that are wheelchair accessible. I think saying that the station as whole is wheelchair accessible by citing map is a bit of a stretch, so I've rephrased to say that the station's exits are mostly wheelchair accessible.
