It is confusing as to whether one Taffel company (swedish/finnish) and another Taffel company (danish) are branches of the same parent company, or are historically linked but separate companies. The Danish Taffel company does not seem to suggest any affiliation with Orkla et al. on its website, but its history, as of the company this article is concerned with, touches on De Danske Spritfabrikker, though notably sets its establishing date in 1959 rather than 1969.
If anyone out there happens to be a sleuth with understanding of corporate structures of the mid-20th century, probably one who knows both danish, swedish and finnish, it'd be interesting to clear this apparent "mystery" up. ~2025-35200-16 (talk) 02:13, 21 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
