Somewhere the meaning of the given name 'Fukuo' should be noted - though perhaps not in this article but currently searches for 'fukuo' direct to this article on footballer Tadayo Fukuo. Per Stan Sakai in Usagi Yojimbo Fox Hunt (volume 25), 'Fukuo' means 'man of good fortune'. I assume that this meaning is derived from 'fuko' (meaning 'lucky') and 'fu kurou' (meaning 'protection from hardship' (i.e. 'no hardship')), but I look to Japanese speakers for confirmation.Penelope Gordon (talk) 20:37, 27 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
