Acquisition of 22 Northrop F-5 Tiger II E/F from the Swiss Air Force

[edit]

Tactical Air Support is currently involved in the ARTEMIS-Project in cooperation with the Swiss defense contractor RUAG (RUAG MRO Holding – Wikipedia), where 22 Northrop F-5 Tiger II E/F fighter jets are being acquired from the Swiss Air Force. The jets are being repaired/overhauled by RUAG at Emmen Air Base and transported to Jacksonville, FL via C-130J. 4 Jets have already been transferred to the US, if I'm not mistaken.
