Subject: Request to update info box sections: industry, founding date, founders, headquarters and key people
Hello, I am employed at Tacori, so I have a conflict of interest and am posting this request on the talk page rather than editing the article directly. I would like to propose the following updates to the infobox section based on third-party coverage:
- Industry: Current text: Jewellers Proposed text: Jewelry Reason: 'Jewellers' connotes multiple retailer entities whereas Tacori is a single manufacturer entity working with retailers.
- Founded: Current text: 1969, in Glendale, California, United States Proposed text: 1979, Downtown Los Angeles Jewelry District [1] Reason: Reflects more accurate founding year and location. Current headquarters are in Glendale but founded in Los Angeles.
- Founders: Current text: Haig Tacorian Proposed text: Haig Tacorian, Gilda Tacorian[2][3]Reason: Giving rightful credit to Gilda Tacorian as a founder. Sourced to "COAF Celebrates the Tacorian Family, Recipients of the 2025 Empowering a Generation Award" by COAF: "A few years later, Haig Tacorian—who shared Gilda’s Armenian-Romanian roots—followed her to Los Angeles. Together, they founded TACORI, grounded in the values Haig learned from his father."
- Headquarters: Current text: Glendale, United States Proposed text: Glendale, California [2]Reason: Following [city], [state] convention and specifying California as the state.
- Key People: Current text: Paul Tacorian, CEO Proposed text: Paul Tacorian (CEO), Nadine Tacorian Arzerounian (Head of Design)[2][3]Reason: Including Nadine Tacorian Arzerounian as a key person as she is part of the Tacorian family and runs the business alongside Paul. Sourced to "COAF Celebrates the Tacorian Family, Recipients of the 2025 Empowering a Generation Award" by COAF: "Today, their children, Paul Tacorian (CEO) and Nadine Tacorian Arzerounian (Head of Design), carry that vision forward."
Thank you to any volunteer editor who has time to review and implement these changes!
