a taco salad does not require a "bed" of lettuce. it just requires lettuce. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 143.44.74.186 (talk) 07:04, 30 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Editor please. This is most likely the most incorrect article on WIKI. It is generally served on a bed of tortilla chips in most places. Saying it REQUIRES something goes against wiki policy as that is an opinion not a fact. 107.144.213.97 (talk) 03:23, 19 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

Origin?

[edit]

Many of the articles about Trump's Taco Bowl are saying it was invented by Denny's, but after some admittedly quick Googling I couldn't find anything close to verification. I want answers, Wikipedia! 172.251.75.106 (talk) 08:11, 7 May 2016 (UTC) As a general rule editorials for or against presidential candidates are not a good source. Like all TexMex cuisine the taco salad originated in the border areas in between the US and Mexico. It is a combination of a mexican taco and an american style salad  Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.217.75.105 (talk) 06:16, 14 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
