History, Legacy and Relevance today

[edit]

I assume nowadays this technique is no longer that much in use. Thus it would be important to add some historic data, e. g. when was it invented, when was it used a lot, and why did it decline (I assume it did because nowadays almost nobody talks about it, or at the least not within the area I have been associated with; much more likely to hear about CRISPR, Gibson assembly, golden gate and so on and so forth; that should also include which company designed TOPO cloning). 2A02:8388:1602:6D80:C080:419D:679D:C9F8 (talk) 14:44, 18 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
