Contested deletion

[edit]

Speedy deletion is not appropriate under Section A7 since claims of significance or importance given is indeed credible: Two claims of significance are given: The first being that the organization is routinely cited by reputable news media outlets (such as The New York Times and Associated Press) as a monitoring institution in a major global conflict; the second being that it has been cited by the United Nations. Both claims are cited and credible.

Looks like this silly nomination deletion is a thing of the past, but I agree 100% with previous comment. SNHR us regularly cited by media and therefore is notable - in fact, given contentiousness of news on Syria, it is vital that Wikipedia works towards good quality articles on the sources. Article should be expanded not deleted. BobFromBrockley (talk) 15:04, 4 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
