Merge Syrian Navy

Hello, I am suggesting to merge Syrian Arab Navy and Syrian Navy into one page like done in Army and Airforce pages. Thanks! Marxsafe (talk) 21:42, 29 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

Disagree. There is almost nothing known about the current Navy, including what ships it has. It has almost no history. A merger would result in 99% about the old navy and cause considerable confusion about the current navy with the old one. The split was done intentionally for that reason. I recommend you work on improving the current navy article. -- GreenC 23:18, 29 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
Oppose. If both pages are merged, it may cause confusion with readers trying to differentiate the two. Caltine (talk) 06:21, 16 December 2025 (UTC)Reply

Requesting to merge Syrian Navy again

Hello Everyone, I am suggesting to merge Syrian Arab Navy (Ba'athist Syria) and Syrian Navy into one page like done in Army and Airforce articles. I think it is better to merge or delete the Syrian Arab Navy (Ba'athist Syria) article so any suggestions to this. Thanks! Marxsafe (talk) 09:45, 18 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
