Is the committee still active ?

[edit]

I could find nothing about the Syrian Constitutional Committee being dissolved, but as far as I can tell it is no longer active. One of the participants - the Ba'athist regime - no longer exists and the other - the Syrian opposition - is currently participating to the political transition in Syria. Moreover, an interim constitution has been implemented in Syria. I guess it is fair to say that the Syrian Constitutional Committee is no longer active and, de facto, no longer exists. Should we use the past tense in the lead section ? Psychloppos (talk) 07:54, 10 April 2025 (UTC)Reply

I have update the page assuming that the committee is de facto disbanded. If you disagree and have sources that show the committee is still active, you may of course revert my edits. Psychloppos (talk) 07:56, 6 May 2025 (UTC)Reply
