The source used for this article has misled editors who left tabs at the head of this page. Syntipas was a fictional figure and most certainly not of Indian origin. It was anyway irresponsible to leave wording based on EB1911 practically unmodified. Not for the first time, an article from that source has proved misleading, taking no account of the large amount of literary reasearch that followed its appearance over a century ago. This, in addition, was largely based on 19th century publications in Latin, inaccessible to (and not easily obtainable by) most modern readers. Mzilikazi1939 (talk) 11:10, 14 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
