Do active-stative languages usually have a specified syntactic pivot, and if so, does this vary widely? Furthermore, is it strictly necessary that a language have a syntactic pivot? Khepidjemwa'atnefru 20:21, 2 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

It is said that Aceh is a language without a pivot. (Van Valin & LaPolla 1997)
