I wrote this article from memory. I researched this material some time ago and learned about the subject primarily from engineering textbooks. Unfortunately I do not have any bibliographical information for these books, nor am I in posession of them at the current time. I will try to dig up some sources of the information that is in this article, but if anyone happens to have their own sources for this, please feel free to add them.

Confirmation

Confirmation of sorts: The BBC first broadcast a television programme, on BBC4 on the 17th November 2015, entitled "Power To The People: Keeping The Lights On", which included a short segment showing a 1960's vintage synchroscope being used at Ferrybridge Power Station in the UK to synchronise a generator that was being brought on-line. Process of synchronisation

How is it done if not just one generator is being connected to the grid, but two grids are being synchronised with each other? Especially, how is the phase angle adjusted to zero?--88.75.189.13 (talk) 22:14, 21 November 2022 (UTC)
