FACTUAL INACCCURACY
This article could also be improved by attention to the facts. Charles Chaplin married Hannah Hill on 22nd June 1885 at St John's Walworth. This is a mere three months after Sydney's birth (assuming the author has that right) and not a year as stated here.
Furthermore the statement that Sydney "began using the Chaplin surname following his mother's marriage to Charles Chaplin Sr" is absurd - a three month old baby is in no position to make any sort of decision regarding their surname. He was raised as Sydney Chaplin. Charles Chaplin was at least his stepfather (there may even be grounds for supposing he was Sydney's father) and being raised with the surname of a stepfather is extremely common.
