No original Cornish language version of this song is recorded afaik. However there are modern translations, e.g. by Julyan Holmes, which have been very popular and I think recorded. The statement that this is an ancient Cornish song is hearsay. Versions of this song are known from all over Great Britain and no doubt beyond.109.176.140.223 (talk) 01:14, 17 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
