Paging vs. swapping
[edit]Is it accurate to say that paging is also called swapping? My belief is that swapping (at least from my admittedly UNIX-centric POV) is a very specific form of paging, where an entire process is moved from memory to swap. Is the term also used as a synonym for paging in general?--NapoliRoma (talk) 15:52, 12 January 2011 (UTC)
