  • ... that a fixture of Madrid nightlife in the 90s was a quirky trans girl who sometimes wore picture hats?
  • Source: "Pronto se hizo habitual de la ruta nocturna de la ciudad [...] era fácil verla en la primera fila de sus conciertos vestida con una enorme pamela" [translation:] "She soon became a regular in the city's nightlife circuit [...] it was easy to see her in the first row of their concerts wearing an enormous picture hat."

Overall: A new article that is long enough, nominated in time. Translated from es.wiki with correct attribution. QPQ unneeded.

I found these issues in the article:

  • "Susie Pop was often spotted at their concerts wearing an enormous picture hat or standing in line for autographs at the now-closed music store Madrid Rock, located on the Gran Vía thoroughfare" Is closely written to what the source says.
  • The following statements are not mentioned by the adjacent source:
  • After relocating to Madrid at the age of 18
  • she was a prominent patron of the now defunct Revolver Club
  • Regarding the hook, I propose something like ALT1: ...that a fixture of Madrid nightlife in the 1990s was a trans girl who was often seen at concerts wearing a large picture hat? As quirky is not mentioned in any synonym, and women wearing picture hats is not infrequent. Tbhotch (CC BY-SA 4.0) 20:19, 13 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
  • Thank you for this! I've reworked the first part, removing the mention of autographs (not sure if that is really DUE anyway) I've removed the age of 18. That was translated from Spanish, and I was unable to find that (or the fact that she moved in 1993) in any source. I also removed the Revolver Club. I could only find that info in a blog. The source for quirky is the description of the band. They are called campy, glam, ironic, etc, but if you consider it SYNTH to describe her that way individually, that's fine with me. Weird request here, can we say "large picture hat?" Slava570 (talk) 23:08, 13 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
@Tbhotch: Thanks for this! I don't know what the process is here, but I noticed this is still pending. Is there something else I am supposed to do now? Slava570 (talk) 12:08, 21 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
Actually just read about the process. Sorry, I didn't realize there was more to it... Slava570 (talk) 13:41, 21 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
