Is this a Neologism?

My college degree is in English literature, so I hope it has some meaning when I state that I've never heard of this term before. The idea is not new -- see plot twist & anagnorisis -- but this term appears to be one individual's coinage to explain the concept. And I may simply be ignorant of this term, despite the fact no one has provided any sources for this article. But seeing that this article was written back in 2006 when standards weren't as strict as they are now, I must wonder if this article fails notability, & if not deleted its material should be merged into an existing article. (PS, I'm in no hurry to delete articles, so I'm raising the question on this talk page rather than nominating it over at WP:AFD.) -- llywrch (talk) 17:11, 17 March 2023 (UTC)
