Royal Norwegian Navy built 9 MCM's SES, which 6 of them are in service. The Norwegian Navy have also one prototype Littoral Combat Ship SES, the Skjold class. This prototype was also a year in the US for testing in the US Navy. The Norwegian Navy have orderered 5 more vessels from the ship yard-UMOE Mandal.

U.S. Coast Guard SES
[edit]110' surface effect ship (WSES)
[edit]I have copied this text from the List of United States Coast Guard cutters article, 110' surface effect ship (WSES) section. These ships are not listed in this article. They were operated for about a year 1981-1982 by the U.S. Coast Guard. The U.S. Navy had possession of them before and after this time, but there is no RS anywhere for the operational histories. Any ideas?
