isn't it also used when referring to video? such as in the Grey Video when footage of Jay-Z is superimposed on top of a Beatles movie?

Controversy can be described as a “well know” topic although it can also be described as a “sensitive” or “serious” topic. An example of a controversial subject would be:the Great Depression and 9/11. But there are far more controversial topics from all around the world. In many countries the news aka a broadcasting channel will discuss controversial topics.
