X Presidents?

[edit]

Maybe this article deserves a mention of Robert Smeigel's X Presidents

Episode title

[edit]

Given that his advisor's name was spelled "Sayles", it seems unlikely that Episode #18 is really titled "The Treachery of Jerry Sales". But, that's how it's spelled in every hit I'm finding on the Web (maybe all copied from a common source mistake?). I'll leave it that way, but maybe someone else can find out for sure. Corrections

[edit]

I have no sources to cite, other than having personally watched the cartoons, so I won't edit the article. But:

1) President Norcross was never called "Super President" in his costumed identity, except when he and Jerry were talking in private. No one else knew the name of the mysterious superhero.

2) "O Sombra" was the title of the Portuguese translation of the "Spy Shadow" cartoons. The original English version was just called "Spy Shadow."

3) The reference to his "hapless Vice President" is wrong. Jerry was the president's advisor, not the veep.

Good point on "O Sombra", I took that out. Toughpigs (talk) 16:41, 28 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
